Kent McCurdy

Kent McCurdy

Owner & Director of Coaching

Kent is the owner and Director of Coaching at FAST. With over 15 years of experience working in the fitness industry Kent has worked with athletes of all levels including youth, collegiate, professional and the everyday athlete. Kent graduated from The University of Colorado with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. He is a certified personal trainer and has received additional certifications from NSCA(CSCS), ISSA, is a Master Trainer for Ignite Performance Training, and has his CrossFit Level 1. Kent worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Colorado Rockies(MLB) as well as the Colorado Spring Sky Sox(AAA). Kent has also spent time at the University of Denver in the Strength and Conditioning Department training varsity athletes in hockey, basketball, lacrosse and soccer.

Bobby Impson

Bobby Impson

Head Crossfit Coach

Bobby is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association with a Bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Sciences from The University of Oklahoma. He was the captain for the OU Rugby club from 2012-2013 and was a USA Rugby 7’s Collegiate All American. Currently he is the scrumhalf for the Denver Barbarians Rugby team and the Denver 7’s All Stars. With his education and athletic experience his goal is to help others achieve their health and fitness goals to not only perform at their best but to live a healthy and happy lifestyle through well calculated programming, training, and educating.

Jesse Harris

Coach

Jesse Harris graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelors degree in health and exercise science in 2010. During his time at CSU he coached youth basketball for two seasons and volunteered at summer football camps. He also traveled to Australia with International Student Volunteers and finished his degree in Hawaii where he completed a corporate wellness internship.
Jesse has been coaching at FAST for over 4 years and leads the coaches in Clean 30 team victories. He is an ACSM certified Health Fitness Specialist as well as TRX level 1 and 2 certified.
He became a trainer and coach after injuring his back playing basketball in high school. After two back surgeries he spent most of his time with PT’s and trainers re strengthening his body which inspired him to help others.

Jason Garrad

Jason comes to us from CrossFit Chapel Hill, which he founded in 2013. He is widely recognized by his members for his expertise in diagnosing and correcting movement errors, a long running commitment to developing and integrating innovative fitness techniques into his CrossFit programming, and his cool demeanor on and off the competition floor. With more than 10 years in the fitness industry, Jason’s dynamic approach and genuine commitment to his athletes’ success add to the effectiveness of the experience his clients enjoy.
A two time CrossFit Games competitor and reigning USA National Masters Weightlifting Champion, he knows a thing or two about building strength and athletic performance in both himself and his athletes. Personally, his love of competition drives Jason’s own training and he draws on his extensive experience in sports performance to bring out the best from all his athletes.

Camille has over 10 years in the fitness industry and over 3 years as a CrossFitter. She graduated from Eckerd College in 2001, where she played NCAA Division II Soccer and Softball for the Tritons. Camille found CrossFit as a competitive outlet after sustaining multiple injuries as a result of her sports career. She feels that CrossFit is for everyone regardless of age, physical limitations and current fitness level. All you have to do is come through the doors and great coaching and a strong community will help you meet your goals. She is a mother and believes that bacon can make anything better.

Kelsey Thornton

Kelsey Thornton

Registered Dietitian

Kelsey Thornton, MS, RDN, is a Registered Dietitian. As an avid runner since high school, she figured out at an early age that good nutrition had an impact on her sport performance. Kelsey first completed an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts. She went on to study Food Nutrition and Dietetics at Illinois State University, and completed her Bachelor of Science degree. She then continued on and completed a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Nutrition & Strength at Western Illinois University. During her time at Western, she was a teaching assistant and was an instructor for undergraduate wellness classes. She completed her last step in becoming a Registered Dietitian at Iowa State University through their accredited dietetic internship distance education program. In her dietetic internship, she spent some time with Collegiate Sport Dietitians, and gained more knowledge on sports nutrition. With her well-rounded education and experience, her goal is to help others make changes to live a healthier lifestyle.
